SHANMUKHARCHANA
A cherished desire of many of our devotees was to perform Shanmukharchana for Lord Muruga at our Temple as is being done in many famous Murugan temples in South. In order to perform Shanmukharchana, a minimum of 12 Sivacharyas are needed. Since the Samaj has been inviting 10 learned Sivacharyas every year for conducting Navachandi Homam during Navarathri Mahotsavam, the Samaj has availed that opportunity to perform Shanmukharchana for Lord Muruga on all days during Navarathri Mahotsavam.
In deference to the wishes of many devotees, it is proposed to continue to perform Shanmukharchana for Lord Muruga during the ensuing Navarathri Mahotsavam. Due to time constraints, there will be only one Shanmukharchana on each day during this period. Devotees desirous of participating in it on any day convenient to them may please register their names at the Temple Office in advance on payment of Rs.10,000/-.
